The November full moon, known as the "Beaver Moon," marks the time when beavers retreat to their lodges with enough food stored for winter. Other traditional names for November's full moon include the digging moon, deer rutting moon, and frost (or freezing) moon, each reflecting how animals and nature approach the colder months.
